The residency programme helps artists and curators by providing them with constant networking services, advice and technical support; we putting them into contact with a network of professionals working in Rome, Italy and abroad who are connected with their particular area of interest. It also organises special studio visits and provides an apartment-studio to live and work in, with utilities. The apartment is maximum for two people.
How to apply
It is possible to apply during all over the year, exept for July and August. Networking activities are not possible from 20 July to 1 September.
qwatz is not able to give grants but we can help selected residents with finding opportunities for funding. The participants are usually supported by governs, foundations, galleries, collectors and companies.

1. a proposal with the project / research to develop during the stay;
2. a letter of motivation (max 800 words) with your statement and your interest to come to qwatz;
3. your portfolio / CV or your website;
4. a published text written on your work for artists | two published texts for curators.
